What’s it mean to be a Mariners Member?

Central Coast Mariners management has been delighted with the response of fans to our most affordable, flexible Membership packages ever, however we want even more supporters to jump on board as a Member of the Club this Hyundai A-League campaign.

Already over 2,500 people have taken advantage of the exclusive Members renewal phase, or the Mariners earlybird price period, securing their seats at Bluetongue Stadium for season 2011/12 – as well as a host of other benefits.

With the earlybird price period extended until Friday 26 August, fans have another week to ensure they receive the best price possible to watch the Mariners Hyundai A-League assault.

With a large number of new Members joining the Club for the first time this year, we thought it would be a good time to put some questions to one of the Clubs- Foundation Members to see what being a Mariners Member is all about…

Mariners Member Profile

Name David Bintley

Age 40

You-ve been a Member since the very first season. What does being a Mariners Member mean to you?
Being a Member increases the sense of community that the Mariners – as the only regional club in the A-League – have developed since the start of the A-League. Membership makes me feel more a part of the Club rather than just a spectator – still waiting to be invited to sit on the bench though!

What would you say to people thinking about jumping on board for the first time?
If you think the Central Coast deserves a team in the national competition, you should show your support by becoming a Member. There are many Membership options, so what are you waiting for?!?

Who has been your favourite player to wear the Yellow and Navy? Why? Mile Jedinak. He is a class player and has developed into an important Qantas Socceroo.

What is your favourite Mariners memory?
Beating Newcastle is always great, so I’d have to say the 4-1 NYE demolition of the Jets (31/12/05)… or the semi-final wins against them.
