Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson made the decision, after several players picked up injuries during training at the Stadium on Tuesday.
“The park was so hard, it was like concrete,” Ferguson said.
Steven McGarry, hamstring, and Steven Old, calf, both failed to finish the session on Tuesday, joining Evan Berger and Adam Taggart on the sidelines.
The squad will now have an in-house game on Friday.
With the game against the Warriors called off, the squad led by senior players Jacob Burns, Shane Smeltz, Travis Dodd, Mile Sterjovski and Chris Coyne used the afternoon to visit a group of underprivileged children.
The squad donated lunches and hats to children at the Golden Hours School, a home for severely and mentally handicapped children.
“This is the least we could do,” Shane Smeltz said.
“We are extremely privileged as footballers so it’s important we can give back to the community.
“Seeing these children smile is wonderful.”
Todd Howarth entertained the group with two songs on the piano.
“It’s sad to see these kids and the every day battle they have to go through,” Perth Glory captain Jacob Burns said.
“It’s really nice that they welcomed us into their school and let us be a part of their day.
“I’m sure all the boys join me in wishing them all the support and wishes for the future.
