New Brazilian recruit Andrezinho has been ruled out of Perth Glory’s third and final tour game in South Africa later tonight (Perth time).
The attacking midfielder, who scored on debut on Saturday, is in Pretoria today, finalising his Australian Visa to return with the squad on Monday.
Evan Berger and Adam Taggart will also miss the game against the Durban Warriors, on the advice of the clubs medical staff.
Both players have slight strains and as a precaution, will not play.
Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson will again make a handful of changes to the starting line-up for the match at the Sugar Ray Zulu Stadium in Claremont, Durban.
“Again, its all about game time,” Ferguson said.
“The results are irrelevant, it’s more about fitness, shape and learning roles and responsibilities.
“The boys have done well so far and i have been happy with how we got the goals.
“We still have a bit of work to do on transition and getting the ball forward quicker.
“But we still have 9 weeks to go and with more games we will get better and better.”
The game against the Durban Warriors kicks-off at 9pm AWST (Perth time).
Perth Glory’s trip to South Africa is proudly supported by Komodo Capital and Continental Coal.
