Gold Coast United will travel to Newcastle with a full head of steam as it looks to maintain the winning run and become the first team to win its first four games in Hyundai A-League history.

Coach Miron Bleiberg has the luxury of players returning from injury which he can rush into the side.

Former Jet Daniel Piorkowski, and Brazilian striker Milson return to boost the squad that has scored ten goals in three matches to open the season.

Brazilian play-maker Robson has also been passed fit but will be left on the Gold Coast.

“We will be leaving Robson out as a strategic measure,” Bleiberg said.

“Next week when we play Sydney, Jason (Culina) will be away with the Qantas Socceroos so I have decided to give Robson this week off to be fully fit for next week as he will be the man to step into that play-maker role.”

“If Robson played Newcastle and got injured we would be without a play-maker for the big match against Sydney.”
