Some intriguing match-ups in the Hyundai A-League this week, as Round 5 kicks-off tomorrow – with the top four and bottom four meeting each other in what could be a table-shifting weekend.

Queensland Roar’s CHARLIE MILLER could break an all-time Australian
national league goalscoring record is he scores against the Jets this weekend – Miller will be aiming to become the first player in Australian domestic league to score in each of his first five appearances. The only other player to score in each of their first four appearances at national league level in Australia was Alun Evans, who netted in his first four appearances in the old NSL way back in 1978, for South Melbourne.

The marathon career of STEVE CORICA reaches another massive milestone this weekend with the Sydney FC midfielder scheduled to make his 400th appearance at national league level. Corica commenced his national league career in October 1990 as a 17 year old at Marconi. His lengthy club career has taken him from Marconi (102 national league appearances), to Leicester City (16), Wolverhampton (100) and Walsall (73) in England, and Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima (44), while his next Hyundai A-League match will be his 65th league appearance for Sydney.
