Emerging midfielder Keanu Baccus declared his loyalty to Western Sydney Wanderers after committing to his hometown club for the next three seasons.
Blacktown product Baccus, 20, has inked a new deal that will keep him at the Hyundai A-League outfit until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Durban-born Australia U23 international grew up in Western Sydney and said his affection for the region made re-signing a straightforward decision.

Securing the long-term future of a prized young player comes as a timely boost for the Wanderers, who will lose Caltex Socceroos right-back Josh Risdon to expansion club Western United from next season.
“Growing up in Western Sydney, the Wanderers are my hometown team and there’s no better feeling for me than getting onto the pitch and representing where you have come from,” Baccus told wswanderersfc.com.au.
“It’s been a really exciting journey so far for me and I’m really looking forward to continuing to develop over the next three years at the club.
“With the new facilities and new stadium opening soon, there’s no place I’d rather be than here at the Red & Black.”

Baccus has made 33 appearances in the Hyundai A-League for Western Sydney since graduating to the senior side from the club’s academy in 2017.
He has cemented a regular starting berth since the departure of brother Kearyn to Melbourne City, rewarding Markus Babbel with two goals in 16 games this term.
“This is an exciting signing for the club and another example of the youth of Western Sydney coming through the Academy program and representing the region at an elite level,” Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said.
