The Draw for the FFA Cup 2019 Quarter Finals was conducted by former Caltex Socceroos attacker and Sydney FC ace Alex Brosque at FOX SPORTS on Wednesday evening following a thrilling night of action across the nation.
This year’s Quarter Finals will feature some enticing match-ups with the four fixtures featuring the competition’s final eight clubs to be played on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th September 2019.
With five Hyundai A-League clubs reaching this year’s last eight and three Member Federation sides still alive in the competition, Brosque began the Quarter Final Draw by selecting two all-Hyundai A-League encounters in accordance with the Draw principles.

The outcome saw Adelaide United selected to host Newcastle Jets, while Melbourne City FC will welcome Western Sydney Wanderers FC to Victoria
The all-Member Federation fixture will see Brisbane Strikers from Queensland host Moreland Zebras from Victoria, while the Member Federation against Hyundai A-League tie will witness Central Coast Mariners travelling south to take on Victoria’s Hume City.
The match details in regard to the specific dates, venues and kick-off times will be announced over the coming days.
This evening, Western Sydney Wanderers FC defeated Sydney United 58 (NSW) 7-1, Brisbane Strikers (QLD) edged Manly United (NSW) 1-0, Hume City (VIC) defeated Adelaide Olympic (SA) 3-1, and Central Coast Mariners prevailed in a penalty shoot-out over Brisbane Roar after the score was locked at 2-2 at full-time after extra time, to seal spots in the last eight.
Adelaide United, Newcastle Jets, Melbourne City FC, and Moreland Zebras (VIC) booked their places in the last eight last Wednesday.
