Adelaide United will seek to emulate their red-hot start to last season when they get their Westfield W-League 2019/20 campaign underway in the season opener.
The Reds travel to Western Sydney Wanderers to lift the curtain on the new season in the first Thursday night football of 2019/20 and Ivan Karlovic’s side will hope to set the standard high.

Adelaide went unbeaten over the first five games last season and suffered only one defeat in their first eight, coming off a wooden spoon campaign in 2017/18.
The South Australians will be tested severely by Sydney FC in Round 2 at the Marden Sports Complex, before they face a trip to Melbourne City ahead of their Round 4 bye.
The Round 7 return match against the Sky Blues is Adelaide’s first Sunday free-to-air match of the season.
The match, on Sunday, 29 December at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium is a double header ahead of the Sydney FC v Melbourne City Hyundai A-League encounter.
