Melbourne Victory’s hopes of another successful Westfield W-League campaign have been boosted with news Teigen Allen, Alexandra Gummer and Lia Privitelli have recommitted to the club.
The trio were all a part of Victory’s maiden Premiership squad last season and will return chasing more success in the Westfield W-League 2019/20 Season.
“It’s pleasing to be able to secure the services of Teigen, Alexandra and Lia for the upcoming W-League season,” Victory boss Jeff Hopkins said.
“Teigen has really grown as a player over the past year and she worked hard to earn her spot back in the Matildas squad at the World Cup in France after missing a few years through injury.
“Alexandra and Lia have also been influential players for us over the years and helped contribute to our success last season.
“These girls are incredibly talented and provide added consistency to our squad as we prepare for our 2019/20 W-League campaign.”

Allen, who featured for the Matildas at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019, will provide a wealth of international and W-League experience to the squad’s defensive line.
Gummer is another experienced head in the squad who has represented Victory and Adelaide United in the Westfield W-League as well as Doncaster Rovers in the English Women’s Super League.
And Privitelli was a regular in Victory’s forward line last season.
The trio of signings takes Victory’s squad list to 10 ahead of the new campaign, which begins next month.
Victory open their Premiership defence against Champions Sydney FC in a double-header with the Hyundai A-League Big Blue on Sunday, November 17 at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
