Brisbane Roar have locked-in a sixth Westfield Matilda for the 2019/20 Season after confirmation attacker Hayley Raso has re-signed with the club.
Raso has agreed to a third straight season with her hometown club, having made 39 appearances and scored 12 goals in Roar colours.
“I’m really excited to be back. I obviously love playing for Brisbane Roar, it’s my home state, all my family and friends are here and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” Raso told Roar’s official website.
“I’m really looking forward to it. Last year was a rough year, but it’s an exciting thought to be able to train well this pre-season, play the season out and hopefully we can do something special this year.”
The 25-year-old has just completed another strong NWSL season in America with the Portland Thorns.

She joins Clare Polkinghorne, Tameka Yallop, Elise Kellond-Knight Katrina Gorry and Mackenzie Arnold as the club’s Westfield Matildas contingent for the 2019/20 campaign.
Jake Goodship’s squad will ramp-up preparations for the upcoming Westfield W-League seaso with a pre-season clash on Saturday.
