Fresh from 65 minutes in Australia’s international friendly win over Chile on Tuesday evening in the City of Churches, Amy Harrison is in line to make her Western Sydney Wanderers debut as the Red and Black host travelling Adelaide United on Thursday night.
The Wanderers host Adelaide at Marconi Stadium in the 2019/20 curtain-raiser with kick off at 7.30pm AEDT.
Adelaide goalkeeper Sarah Willacy, recently called up into the Westfield Matildas squad which beat Chile in two friendlies, is also expected to feature for Adelaide, who may also give a Westfield W-League debut to 16-year-old wonderkid Mary Fowler.
The Round 1 clash comes to soon for new Wanderers number nine Lynn Williams and midfield lynchpin Denise O’Sullivan, with both players serving on international duty for United States and Ireland respectively.
