After their exploits at the AFC Women’s Club Championship last week, Melbourne Victory turn their focus back to the Westfield W-League for a clash against Western Sydney Wanderers.
And what a clash this promises to be, pitting last season’s premiers in Victory against this season’s high-flyers in the Wanderers.
Victory have managed a win and loss in their first two matches, while the Wanderers have taken the Westfield W-League by storm, winning all three games and playing some eye-catching football.
The battle of the attacks will be fascinating to watch as Victory’s Natasha Dowie and Darian Jenkins go up against the Wanderers’ American duo in Kristen Hamilton and Lynn Williams.
