ROUND 12: Team of the Week
Adelaide United 2-3 Western Sydney Wanderers
A crazy match to open the round saw Wanderers prevail in a five-goal thriller over the Reds at Coopers Stadium.
It was a match that had a bit of everything from a stunning headed goal to VAR drama, penalty misses and some feisty challenges.
Nicolai Muller was the two-goal hero for the Wanderers who snapped a seven-game winless run to ease the pressure on coach Markus Babbel.

Newcastle Jets 1-1 Brisbane Roar
Both the Jets and Roar managed to snap their losing runs but the draw won’t be of a great relief to either of the Hyundai A-League’s basement battlers.
The Jets led for much of the match through Dimitri Petratos’ first-half goal but couldn’t hold on as Roar substitute Bradden Inman earned his side a share of the spoils late on with a cracking strike.
