Canberra’s Orgill joins Norwegian club for 2020

Canberra United have confirmed that co-captain Nikola Orgill has signed with Norwegian Toppserien outfit Kolbotn.

Orgill, who has a Dutch passport, has signed a deal for the 2020 season and will link with her new club in March at the competition of the Westfield W-League.

Able to play both in defence and central midfield, Orgill is seen as a key recruit for the Norwegian club who are looking to make a big splash in the competition this year.

“With Nikola Orgill we get an established top player who wants to strengthen our leadership and give us experience,” Kolbotn coach Aleksander Olsen said.

“Nikola is usable and can occupy several positions in the central line. Nikola has been captain of Canberra and we are very pleased with this signing and this will be a top player in the Toppserien.”
