Hyundai Ins and Outs – Round 21

Newcastle Jets approach Round 21 with Wales international Joe Ledley and Hyundai A-League Premiership winner Bernie Ibini both named amongst their ranks for the first time since signing for the club this week.

The exciting new-look Jets – who were already bolstered by the fit-again Wes Hoolahan making his Hyundai A-League debut last week – host Perth Glory on Saturday afternoon, who have recalled midfielder Juande who is in the mix for his first appearance for the club since Round 12.

The weekend’s action kicks off in style with a Sydney Derby at Nestrata Jubilee Stadium; Alex Baumjohann returns from suspension for the Sky Blues but Steve Corica will be without Paulo Retre who goes out the other way to serve his own one-game suspension.

The blockbuster clashes continue into the weekend with the Original Rivalry on Saturday night; Adelaide United travel to face Melbourne Victory with fit-again midfield maestro James Troisi looking to get his first minutes since Round 16.

But the Reds will be without the in-form Ben Halloran, who has four goals in his last three Hyundai A-League games – he misses with a hamstring injury.

Read on for all of the important team news for every match this weekend.
