A jaw-dropping run of form has ensured that Perth Glory midfielder Morgan Andrews has claimed the Westfield W-League Player of the Month award for February.
While her side missed out on a spot in the Finals Series, Andrews ended the campaign with a bang as Glory proved finals spoilers over the last month.
The American hit her straps in the final few rounds, scoring five goals in her last three games to end with seven for the campaign and a share of the Golden Boot.
Andrews’ mega month started as Glory upset Brisbane Roar 4-2, scoring a brilliant brace to all-but end Roar’s finals hopes.
She backed that superb display up with another double as Glory shocked Sydney FC 2-1 the following week, denying the Sky Blues a top-two finish in the process.
