Ante Milicic to present the Joe Marston medal for the best player of the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today announced that the 2002 Joe Marston Medal winner, Ante Milicic, will present the Joe Marston Medal to the best player of the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final and form part of the official party for the post-match presentation.

Milicic won the Joe Marston Medal at the 2002 NSL Grand Final when he scored the winning goal for Sydney Olympic in their 1-0 victory over Perth Glory at Subiaco Oval. He also won the Johnny Warren Medal in 2003/04 playing for Parramatta Power in the final season of the NSL.

Speaking on the eve of the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final, Milicic was honoured to be involved in the Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final presentation ceremony.

“Grand Finals have a very special place in the career of any footballer,” said Milicic.

“I still vividly remember the feeling of scoring the goal and winning the 2002 NSL Grand Final with Sydney Olympic and it is still up there as one of my favourite moments in the game as a player.

“I am looking forward to watching the match and then presenting the Joe Marston Medal.

“I wish both teams the best of luck and may the best team win,” concluded Milicic.

The Hyundai A-League 2020 Grand Final will see Sydney FC face Melbourne City FC at Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta. All tickets available for the match have been exhausted.
