Central Coast Mariners have the opportunity to move further clear atop the A-League ladder at home to Perth Glory on Sunday (kick off 4.05pm AEDT).
Alen Stajcic’s table-topping Mariners kept their unlikely Premiership bid rolling on with a 2-0 victory over Macarthur FC last Monday, landing the Gosford club an eighth win in 11 matches so far this season.
The Mariners are looking to make it two victories over Perth in as many weeks, having edged the Glory 2-1 in WA on Tuesday March 2.
Perth were handily beaten 3-0 by Wellington Phoenix last time out and will be desperate to return to the winners circle and underline their credentials by bringing the Mariners back down to earth.
