A pair of tense rivalries highlight an A-League triple-header taking place on Sunday, May 23.
The first of three games sees Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers go head-to-head in a Sydney Derby at the SCG.
Tass Mourdoukoutas and Daniel Wilmering are promoted to a Wanderers squad looking to bounce back after a dismal 5-1 loss to Perth Glory last time out. The result left the Wanderers outside of the top six, but a Sydney Derby win would send the Red and Black level with the sixth-placed Brisbane Roar.
The Wanderers are unbeaten in six games against the Sky Blues, who will be eager to snap that run when hosting their local rivals. Steve Corica’s side have won two games in a row heading into Matchweek 22, keeping consecutive clean sheets in the process.

Melbourne Victory will then welcome Adelaide United to AAMI Park for the third Original Rivalry clash of the season. The Reds have secured two wins against the Victory this season, extending an impressive recent record to four wins in five games against the Navy Blue.
Adelaide have notched just one win in seven games to sit precariously in fourth place heading into the Sunday-evening fixture. Victory, meanwhile, are looking for the three points needed to move out of reach of Newcastle Jets on the bottom of the A-League table.

Perth Glory and Macarthur FC will round out the action on Sunday at HBF Park. The West Australian side are flying, having won four games on the bounce to join the hunt for a place in the Finals Series. Perth will begin the day in ninth but could climb into seventh to trail the sixth-placed Roar on goal difference alone.
Perth boss Richard Garcia named Sebastian Langkamp, Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Andy Keogh, Brandon Wilson and Carlo Armiento in an extended squad as the Bulls come to town. These two sides last met in Matchweek 19: a 0-0 draw at HBF Park.
