Western Sydney Wanderers will be looking to bounce back following their late 4-3 loss to Macarthur last time out as they welcome Newcastle Jets to CommBank stadium in what is a 5pm (AEDT) kick off.
Meanwhile in the Liberty A-League Kat Smith’s Western United will move into second spot on the ladder and just one point behind league leaders Melbourne City if they beat Brisbane Roar at City Vista Recreation reserve, a game which also gets underway at 5pm (AEDT).

Western Sydney Wanderers v Newcastle Jets – 5PM (AEDT) – (Isuzu UTE A-league)
Wanderers boss Marko Rudan could be set to call on one new and one familiar face for this hotly anticipated clash at CommBank Stadium.
After two-and-a-half months sidelined by a foot fracture, key attacker Brandon Borrello is in line to make his long-awaited return after being named in the squad while new loan signing Sonny Kittel could also be in line to make his debut for the club.

As for the Jets, well they begin Round 16 just four points off the top six and have picked up four points from a possible nine in their last three outings.
Head coach Rob Stanton will be looking to red-hot striker Apostolos Stamatelopoulos to continue his scoring streak given the 24-year-old has bagged four goals in his last five games.

Western United v Brisbane Roar – 5PM (AEDT) – (Liberty A-league)
Western United are flying high under Kat Smith, currently enjoying a three-game winning streak and will be confident of continuing that against Brisbane Roar.
A win for the home side will see them move to within a point of Melbourne City at the top of the ladder and they’ll be looking to recalled Matilda Chloe Logarzo to propel them forward once more.
Also included in the latest Matildas squad to face Uzbekistan though is Brisbane Roar midfielder Tameka Yallop who has been in stellar form of late having been involved in six of Brisbane’s last eight goals.
Sat in 10th spot on the ladder, Alex Smith’s side have been somewhat inconsistent of late but a win here today would see them create a six-point buffer between themselves and bottom side Canberra United.
