Relive all the action across the Isuzu UTE A-League and Liberty A-League on a jam-packed Saturday.
In the Liberty A-League, Canberra United and Newcastle Jets played out a 3-3 draw at No.2 Sportsground before league-leading Melbourne City demolished Adelaide United 5-0 and Western United came away with a resounding 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory at the Home of the Matildas.
Over in the Isuzu UTE A-League, Central Coast Mariners defeated Western Sydney Wanderers 1-0 at CommBank Stadium, Sydney FC saw off Brisbane Roar 2-1 in Ben Cahn’s first game in charge at Suncorp Stadium before the action concluded with Melbourne Victory dramatic 3-2 win over Perth Glory at HBF Park.

Newcastle Jets 3-3 Canberra United – No.2 Sportsground (Liberty A-League)
MATCH REPORT: Canberra defender’s memorable strike caps wild six-goal draw in Newcastle
Sarah Clark’s incredible long-range goal six minutes from the end rescued a point for Canberra United in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Newcastle Jets in the Liberty A-League.
The Jets appeared on track for maximum points thanks to Melindaj Barbieri, whose maiden Newcastle goal in the 72nd minute had her team in pole position at No.2 Sportsground on Saturday.
However, lowly Canberra refused to surrender and earned a share of the spoils via an unlikely source – 24-year-old American centre-back Clark.

Adelaide United 0-5 Melbourne City – Marden Sports Complex (Liberty A-League)

A brilliant hat-trick from Young Matilda Daniela Galic has helped Melbourne City cruise to an emphatic 5-0 win over Adelaide United.
It took the away side just 15-minutes to make their mark in Adelaide as Galic scored her first of the afternoon before she then made it two from close range after some excellent work from Kaitlyn Torpey.
With Adelaide on the ropes City showed no mercy as Galic crossed for Torpey to bag their third from close range before a slick move saw Torpey turn assister once more as Galic sealed her hat-trick with an emphatic finish.
Hannah Wilkinson then bagged her fifth goal of the afternoon in the 84th minute to complete the rout and seal City’s third consecutive win.
The result temporarily moves Melbourne City six points clear ahead of second-placed Perth Glory while Adelaide’s seventh defeat of the season means they sit just one point ahead of bottom side Canberra United.
The away side exerted their dominance early on at Marden Sports Complex and would have taken an early lead were it not for a fantastic save from Reds keeper Annalee Grove.

Western Sydney Wanderers 0-1 Central Coast Mariners – CommBank Stadium (Isuzu UTE A-League)
MATCH REPORT: Mariners star farewells A-Leagues with a bang as in-form Central Coast conquer Wanderers
Marco Tulio has signed off his time at the Central Coast Mariners in style, scoring a brilliant long range strike to help the reigning Isuzu UTE A-League champions to a hard fought 1-0 win over Western Sydney Wanderers at CommBank Stadium.
The Brazilian lined up in Mariners colours for the final time on Saturday evening before he joins Japanese side Kyoto Sanga and marked his farewell with a brilliant goal in the 25th minute.
Tulio’s strike was his 14th goal in 18 games in all competitions this season, and his 24th and final goal for the club since arriving in Gosford at the start of the 2022-23 season. The 25-year-old attacker was withdrawn in the 71st minute to a strong reception from the travelling Mariners fans.
Central Coast’s defence was able to hold firm in the second-half to come away with the win and send their supporters home happy with three points in tow, as Mark Jackson’s side are now unbeaten in their last seven league games and now, sit fourth on the standings, a point behind the third-placed Wanderers.

Melbourne Victory 1-4 Western United – Home of the Matildas (Liberty A-League)
MATCH REPORT: Merciless Western preserve flawless record against slumping Victory in Liberty A-League rout
Western United showed no mercy as Matildas star Chloe Logarzo scored twice in a crushing 4-1 win over rivals Melbourne Victory in the Liberty A-League.
Keiwa Hieda and Adriana Taranto set the tone for last season’s Grand Finalists with quick-fire goals in the first half before in-form Logarzo struck twice in the second 45 minutes at the Home of the Matildas on Saturday.
Rachel Lowe pulled a goal back for Victory, but it proved too little too late though it did ensure the home side avoided going three games without a goal for the first time since 2012.
With the resounding win, Western moved up to third in the standings as Victory were clinging onto their pace in the top six following a third consecutive defeat.

Brisbane Roar 1-2 Sydney FC – Suncorp Stadium (Isuzu UTE A-League)
MATCH REPORT: Fantastic Fabio fires Sydney FC past Brisbane to secure third-straight win
A first-half double from Sydney FC striker Fabio Gomes was enough to seal all three points for the Sky Blues as new Brisbane Roar head coach Ben Cahn was defeated 2-1 in his first game in charge.
Looking for a response following their 8-1 humiliation in Round 10 the home crowd saw their side 1-0 down after just 52 seconds with Brazilian striker Fabio heading home the opening goal.
Sydney were then guilty of wasting a whole host of chances before they eventually doubled their lead, with Fabio scoring a brilliant backheeled effort in the 41st minute.
Brisbane did pull one back on the stroke of half time through Nikola Mileusnic but Sydney held firm in the second half to secure the win and with it move into the competition’s top six.

Perth Glory 2-3 Melbourne Victory – HBF Park (Isuzu UTE A-League)
MATCH REPORT: Scenes! Super sub’s 96th minute winner fires Victory to dramatic win over Glory
A 96th minute goal from substitute Ben Folami has fired Melbourne Victory to a dramatic 3-2 win over 10-man Perth Glory at HBF Park on Saturday night, sending Tony Popovic’s side top of the Isuzu UTE A-League ladder.
Adam Taggart opened the scoring for Glory with a stunning half volley in the 20th minute, before Zinedine Machach equalised the brink of half-time with a sensational long range strike of his own.
Glory were reduced to 10 men after Bruce Kamau was sent off just after half-time against his former side. Substitute Eli Adams scored a brilliant long range goal of his own to give Victory the lead in the 82nd minute, before Kaelan Majekodunmi curled home what looked to be the equaliser sending the Glory fans into delirium.
However, with time expiring, Folami placed the ball past Glory keeper Cameron Cook with a well taken finish to extend their unbeaten start to the season to 11 straight games.
Victory now leapfrog Wellington Phoenix after they drew with Adelaide United earlier in the week, going two points ahead of the ‘Nix on the standings.
Meanwhile, Glory remain in second-last on the table, seven points off sixth-placed Sydney FC heading into the remainder of the round, but also five points behind 10th placed Newcastle Jets – the nearest side above them on the ladder.
