Wellington Phoenix and Sydney FC will go head-to-head in Auckland for their Isuzu UTE A-League match next year.
Eden Park will host the Round 21 clash on Saturday, March 16 for what will be Wellington’s final ‘home’ match in Auckland.
It is a venue where the high-flying Phoenix have never lost an Isuzu UTE A-League fixture, having won six and drawn five since 2011.

“We committed to playing two games in Tamaki Makaurau at the start of the season and it’s fitting that we’ll host one more match at Eden Park before the new expansion side arrives,” Phoenix general manager David Dome said.
“It’s been a happy hunting ground for us and we have fond memories of our matches there.
“Ufuk Talay was in charge for our past six visits to Eden Park and it adds to the occasion that he is now Sydney FC’s head coach.
“Nick and his team at Eden Park are also great to deal with and we look forward to working together again in March.”
