Liberty A-League champions Sydney FC have signed Junior Matildas star Madeleine Caspers.
The exciting 16-year-old midfielder makes the move to the reigning Premiership-Championship holders from Football NSW Institute, having previously played for Northbridge Football Club.
Caspers debuted for the Junior Matildas in an AFC Under-17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifier against Philippines in September.

“I’m super excited to get the opportunity to sign for this club,” said Caspers, who is in the squad for Sunday’s game against Newcastle Jets.
“It’s every young player’s dream to play in the A-League, and to get to play for such an amazing club with so much success, is truly an honour.
“I can’t wait to get started and contribute however I can to this team.”
While Caspers arrives, Jessica Seaman departs the Sky Blues after agreeing a mutual termination of her contract.
The veteran defender had signed a shot-term deal for Sydney’s AFC Women’s Club Championship campaign in Uzbekistan and featured in Liberty A-League fixtures against Adelaide United and Melbourne City.
