Western United have re-signed CommBank Matildas star Chloe Logarzo for the 2024-25 Ninja A-League Women season.
Logarzo – a two-time A-Leagues champion – returns for a third consecutive season at Western in a huge boost for the ambitious club following an almost “unstoppable” 2023-24 campaign.
The Australia international scored nine goals and supplied three assists in 17 matches last term as she was crowned Western United’s Player of the Season and Fan’s Player of the Season, secured second place in the Julie Dolan Medal standings and returned to the CommBank Matildas squad.

“It’s like coming home – it is home. I’m finally back, I’m really looking forward to the start of the season,” she said.
“Coming back was not a hard decision at all, I love the club, I love the people who are here, I love my teammates – so it was easy for me to come back.
“I’m finally going to be able to lace up and get on the field at Ironbark Fields. I’m really looking forward to this year and hopefully we can bring home some silverware.”
It has been a busy off-season for Kat Smith’s Western, who reached the Elimination Final last season having featured in the 2022-23 Grand Final.
Chloe Lincoln, Sasha Grove, Alana Cortellino and Philippines international Sara Eggesvik have all arrived, while Kahli Johnson, Melissa Taranto, Adriana Taranto, Julia Sardo, Alyssa Dall’Oste, Natalie Picak, Aimee Medwin and Grace Maher have re-signed.
GOODBYE: Western United farewell six players, incl. three foundation members
“Chloe was just about unstoppable last season and her return is another big statement of our ambition for next term,” said general manager of football Mal Impiombato.
“We are immensely proud of what Chloe has done to get back to the top of her game and we know that her passion and desire is unwavering as she strives to push the boundaries each year.
“Not only has her quality on the pitch been immeasurable, she has made a lasting impact on our club and our community in Tarneit and having a leader and personality of her stature within our ranks is invaluable.
“We can’t wait to watch her out at Ironbark Fields for the first time next season, and no doubt our fans will be equally excited to see our No.6 back in action.”
