Western Sydney Wanderers have today promoted young duo Kosta Grozos and John Roberts to the club’s Hyundai A-League squad.
17-year-old Grozos and 16-year-old Roberts join as scholarship players, with the pair signing on for the next two seasons.
Attacking midfielder Grozos joined the Wanderers Academy in 2016 and went on to score eight goals in 23 appearances during the season.
Last season, the Kingsgrove-born Grozos was named the Wanderers NPL Player of the Year after netting 11 goals in 13 games.
Grozos has netted four times in four games this Foxtel Y-League season and was also recently part of the Young Socceroos squad that qualified for the 2018 AFC U19 Championship back in November.

Roberts joins the Red & Black from Melbourne City where he was signed as a scholarship player in July 2017.
Born in Sierra Leone, the pacey striker began his career with the NSW Institute Program before making the move to the FFA Centre of Excellence.
Having captained Australia at U16 level, Roberts was also part of the Young Socceroos squad that qualified for the 2018 AFC U19 Championship.
Grozos, who will wear the number 34 and Roberts, who will don the number 32 jersey, have both been included in the squad for tomorrow’s Hyundai A-League Round 14 match against Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium.
