Western Sydney Wanderers midfielder Oscar Priestman has signed a three-year contract extension with the Isuzu UTE A-League team.
Priestman is contracted to the Wanderers until the end of the 2026-27 season, Western Sydney confirmed following the arrival of former Spain, Chelsea and Manchester United star Juan Mata last week.
The 21-year-old, who arrived from cross-town rivals Sydney FC at the start of last season, has quickly established himself in the Wanderers midfield having amassed 25 appearances in his debut A-Leagues campaign, scoring once.

He was also part of the Subway Olyroos’ PacificAus Sports Football Series as Australia’s Under-23 side won 3-0 and 4-0 against Vanuatu.
“I’m just excited and grateful to re-sign with the club, I’ve been really enjoying the pre-season and all the training we have been putting in, we’ve got a really good group of boys and coaching staff,” said Priestman.
“Hopefully this season I can contribute to us having a really successful season.”

It has been a busy off-season for the Wanderers, who appointed Alen Stajcic as their new head coach.
With the former CommBank Matildas, Central Coast Mariners and Perth Glory boss at the helm, Western Sydney have lured Bozhidar Kraev, Jeong Tae-wook (loan), Jordan Holmes and Juan Mata to Wanderland.
The Wanderers, who missed out on the Finals Series last season, have also re-signed Nathan Barrie and Anthony Pantazopoulos.

“Oscar is a tremendous young person and footballer, and will be a huge asset to the club in the future,” said Stajcic.
“With a work ethic and talent second to none, it will be great to see him grow and develop within our A-League team and club environment.”
