Wellington Phoenix shattered a number of records in Giancarlo Italiano’s rookie season at the helm. Can they back it up in 2024-25?
The Phoenix will have to do it without some key players from last season who have gone on to secure life-changing moves. However, Wellington have appeared to recruit well – bringing in two experienced J1 League players in Hideki Ishige and Kazuki Nagasawa.
You can also throw into the mix the Kiwi Clasico – the A-Leagues’ newest derby as Auckland FC enter the equation in 2024-25.
