Transfer centre: Hyundai A-League player movement

There was a flurry of late player movement on Wednesday as the transfer window came to a halt across the Hyundai A-League.

Sydney FC picked up promising young defender Ben Warland from Adelaide United, while the versatile Ali Abbas parted ways with Wellington Phoenix.

Central Coast announced the departure of winger Kwabena Appiah to an unnamed Korean club, while later confirming the signing of ex-Glory defender Jacob Poscoliero.

Wanderers pounced on Socceroo Chris Ikonomidis in a late deal, while Phoenix announced the capture of NZ international Monty Patterson and goalkeeper Tando Velaphi early on Thursday morning.

With clubs now restricted to signing free agents in order to bolster their squads, we take a look at all the recent player movement across the league.
