Instant reaction to Kisnorbo's Victory exit | Total A-Leagues Ep 9

The teams are in for Round 9 of the Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Socceroos forward Nishan Velupillay has been included in Melbourne Victory’s extended 20-player squad ahead of Saturday night’s derby against Melbourne City.

Velupillay has missed Victory’s last three Isuzu UTE A-League fixtures with an ankle injury suffered on international duty in November; the 23-year-old recently returned to training and is in the mix to feature for Victory in the Melbourne Derby at AAMI Park on Saturday night.

Around the grounds, Auckland FC star Louis Verstraete is a chance to return from a back injury that sidelined him from the Black Knights’ 2-2 draw with Melbourne City in Round 8, Adelaide United winger Ben Folami is back from suspension and there’s a big blow for Sydney FC, with striker Patryk Klimala ruled out with a groin strain.

Wellington Phoenix will be without Stefan Colakovski for Round 9 and beyond after the off-season Phoenix signing suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in training this week.

Read on for all the team news ahead of Round 9.
