Hat-trick hero ticks off career feat as Sydney FC advance to ACL Two knockouts

Sydney FC qualified for the AFC Champions League Two knockout phase after easing past Eastern SC 4-1 on Thursday night.

Anas Ouahim’s hat-trick and a goal from Patryk Klimala inspired a comprehensive win for Sydney in Hong Kong, where the Sky Blues’ progress from Group E was confirmed after leaders Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s 1-1 draw with Kaya FC-Iloilo later in the night.

For in-form Ouahim, it was the first three-goal haul of his career.
