Sydney FC star Adrian Segecic is among the top 10 Under-23 players worldwide in a list shared by the CIES Football Observatory.
Segecic ranks sixth for most non-penalty goals per 90 minutes for U23 players across 62 leagues in the world (at least 630 domestic minutes played), according to CIES.

The 20-year-old super-sub sits inside the top 10 at 0.91 non-penalty goals per 90 minutes, behind PSV’s Ricardo Pepi (1.36), Monaco sensation Mika Biereth (1.26), John Kennedy of CF Pachucha (1.04), AC Omonio’s Saidou Alioum (1.02) and Mees Rijks of Valerenga (0.98).
Segecic has been soaring to new heights with Sydney in the Isuzu UTE A-League and AFC Champions League Two.
The young Australian is in the Golden Boot race with nine league goals, despite starting just 10 of his 18 appearances.
Segecic has also five goals in the ACL Two as the Sky Blues prepare for an historic semi-final.
