Impressive young goalkeeper Bon Scott has signed with Brisbane Roar on a short-term deal.
Scott has inked an injury replacement contract as cover for the sidelined Jamie Young.
The 23-year-old, who is a former member of Roar’s youth set up, has made a name for himself as one of the leading glovemen in the the Queensland NPL.
He has played for the likes of Western Pride, Brisbane City and Brisbane Strikers in the NPL, while in 2019 he was voted the competition’s Goalkeeper of the Year.
Scott will be in the squad for Roar’s clash with Newcastle Jets at McDonald Jones Stadium on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, Japanese import Masato Kudo is also in contention to make his A-League debut for the club in the Hunter.
The exciting striker has been included in Warren Moon’s extended 20-man squad for the first time since signing for the club in December.
Youngsters Danny Kim and Keegan Jelacic have also been promoted to the squad for a Roar side looking to register back-to-back wins.
