The Socceroos have advanced to the quarter-finals of the AFC Asian Cup thanks to a 4-0 win over Indonesia.
A-Leagues pair Bruno Fornaroli (Melbourne Victory) and Aziz Behich (Melbourne City) both started as Graham Arnold’s Socceroos put Indonesia to the sword with their late show on Sunday.
The Socceroos – champions in 2015 – will face either Saudi Arabia or South Korea in the last eight in Qatar.

Elkan Baggott’s 12th-minute own goal gave Australia an early lead before Martin Boyle doubled the advantage in the 45th minute at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
The Socceroos added two goals late in the game to seal the result – Craig Goodwin came off the bench to make it 3-0 in the final minute of regulation and Harry Souttar completed the rout in the 91st minute.
“Overall, I’m especially really pleased with the second half performance,” Socceroos midfielder Jackson Irvine told Channel 10.
“Sometimes in these games they play with a lot of emotion. As I say, they have nothing to lose, and you have to stay calm.
“They started getting nasty and naughty at the end. You have to remain cool and I think we did that well enough to see the game off, and a comfortable win.”
