Robbie Fowler has continued his aggressive rebuild of his Brisbane Roar squad with the signing of former Wales youth international Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
A product of Cardiff City’s youth academy, the 26-year-old has played the majority of his career in England’s Football League, most recently with League One outfit Shrewsbury Town.
In the 2018/19 campaign with the Shrews, the versatile Amadi-Holloway made 38 appearances and scored three goals.

“I’m very excited for the opportunity to come and play for Brisbane Roar,” Amadi-Holloway told Roar’s official website.
“It was an opportunity I couldn’t say no to, being coached by one of the best Premiership strikers in his time.
“I can’t wait to get started.”
His fresh start with the Roar is the first time Amadi-Holloway will play outside of the United Kingdom.
As well as his most recent stint at Shrewsbury, Amadi-Holloway, who represented Wales at U17 and U19 level, has also featured for clubs like Bristol City, Wycombe Wanderers and Fleetwood Town.
He is Fowler’s third signing for Brisbane, with the Roar coach having acquired the services of Irish striker Roy O’Donovan on Monday and Scottish defender Tom Aldred earlier on Tuesday.
