He was a favourite of Wanderers fans and still has friends at the club, but Perth Glory midfielder Andreu will be happy to spoil his former club’s party later today.
The two sides meet at Spotless in a pivotal clash for Glory’s hopes of breaking back into the six.

Perth head into today’s clash on the back of a fabulous comeback win over Melbourne City last week courtesy of Adam Taggart’s final-minute header.
It’s given the club a huge boost. Little wonder coach Kenny Lowe had a big smile at his final press conference before flying across the country.
Another three points would have the Glory boys within touching distance of the Wanderers in sixth on 26 points.
Perth are currently in eighth on 22 points.
And for Andreu, who has just returned from an injury layoff, he understands how important it is for his club to heap more misery on his former club following their loss in the Sydney Derby last week.
“Tough game, but for us, it’s the last chance to get into the top six,” the Spaniard told media on Friday.
“Obviously you are always checking the table and you want to improve.
“Maybe we are not getting the results we wanted. If we win, we’ll be closer to be in the top six.
“We are ready to beat them, like the last week when we beat Melbourne City. That was a special moment.
“And we know we can get something good [out of this game] if we play to our plan.”
Barcelona-born Andreu joined Wanderers from Racing Santander for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Season.
He helped them reach that season’s grand final, only to lose to Adelaide United on the final day.
It was a special time, recalled Andreu.
“It was a fantastic year for me. I have very good friends there.
“I have a very good relationship with many of the players and staff. Obviously, Sydney is a special city for me.
“But that doesn’t matter, we have to win.”
Glory coach Kenny Lowe played down the game’s importance in typically philosophical fashion this week.
“It’s another game. Hopefully, we’ll win and then we’ll look at the next one.
“There are still six games left, we could lose all six or win all six,” he said.
