SFC – Your two sides going head to head, how does that make you feel?
MJ: It would have definitely been a special night for me to be back at Allianz but even though I’m not going to be there I’m still really looking forward to watching the game.
SFC – Disappointed to miss out through injury?
MJ: Of course! It was something I was looking forward to when we found out who our opponents would be in the group so to be disappointed is a understatement.
SFC – Do you still keeps tabs on Sydney FC, what are you expecting from us?
MJ: I try and watch all the games when I can. Obviously their confidence is going to be sky high and with good reason. I enjoy watching the boys and seeing the front four and the chances they’ve created this year, as well as being very fit and a well drilled unit.
SFC – What are you expecting your side to produce on Wednesday night?
MJ: I think the boys will give everything they’ve got not easy with the season not started yet but I’m expecting a good performance and I’m looking forward to seeing the new players play as I haven’t seen too much of them yet.
SFC – Thoughts on the team’s in Group H?
MJ: I think it’s quite a tough group to be in, every team has a successful history. Every game is going to be a good test for ourselves but hopefully the two teams going through to the Round of 16 are Suwon
