It-s Part One of a feast of fantastic festive football at the Bluetongue, as Mariners prepare for a hectic holiday schedule!

While most people fill themselves up with food and drink at Christmas time, the Yellow Army are preparing to gorge themselves on a feast of pure football, as their heroes get ready for five home games over a manic three week period.

It will be a spell that will certainly shape the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season as the top two make up a couple of the upcoming visitors, so it is crucial that they get off to a winning start by turning over struggling North Queensland Fury. Get along to the Bluetongue and warm up your lungs in preparation for three weeks of singing!

Fury themselves certainly know a thing or two about busy schedules, as the games keep on coming for Franz Straka-s side. After two tough as old boots home encounters against Sydney and ladder leaders Roar, the Tropical Green now head out on the road for their third game in eight days. It-s a gruelling schedule for any side, but for a team that is battling for their lives, it is especially so.

As Mariners look to keep the pressure on the top two, they-ll be boosted by the fact that they-ve already done the double over this Wednesday-s opponents in the Hyundai A-League 2010/11 season. In Townsville in early November, a first half goal from Dutch defender Patrick Zwaanswijk proved the difference in a tight affair.

In contrast to this low-scoring battle, the coming together of the two sides a month earlier was goal-crazy, and once again it was Zwaanswijk that was the hero.

The match had absolutely everything, and proved to be a great advert for the excitement that the Hyundai A-League offers. There were five different names on the score-sheet, a penalty, an own goal, a red card and, most dramatically of all, an injury-time winner from the big Dutchman. If there are half the thrills this time round, then fans are in for a treat.

Fury have never beaten Central Coast, after last season-s tussles ended with two draws at the Bluetongue and a massive 5-1 hammering at Dairy Farmers Stadium. That result remains Mariners- biggest ever away triumph.

Yellow Army, the next few weeks are vital to your side-s season, so, if you want to see them challenging for honours, then it is crucial that you get yourself along to the Bluetongue and make the kind of intense atmosphere that your team have come to expect from you. Create a sea of yellow and make loads of noise on from first whistle to the last! The season is really starting to heat up now, so get involved and make a difference!
