Wellington Phoenix goalscorer Roy Krishna believes his side should have managed more against Western Sydney despite clawing back from two goals down to draw 2-2 in Auckland.
The hosts looked certain to suffer their seventh defeat of the season when Mitch Nichols doubled Wanderers’ advantage in the 56th minute.

Phoenix responded with two goals either side of Dimas’ missed penalty to eke out an unlikely point, but the scorer of the equaliser feels they missed an opportunity.
“We could have killed it in the second half. We had some chances,” Krishna told ABC Grandstand.
“The first half was pretty bad.
“We didn’t start off well and then in the second half we regrouped and we came out firing.”
Trailing 1-0 at the break, Wellington didn’t find their attacking groove until Gui Finkler sparked a frantic six-minute spell by converting a Krishna-won penalty.
“In the first half we didn’t have enough pressure on the ball,” the Fijian forward said.
“It was not happening in the first half but I think in the second half (we put on) a lot more pressure.
“Like I said, we are disappointed.”
