Perth Glory have signed young Australian striker Nathanael Blair from Western Sydney Wanderers on a two-year deal.
The 20-year-old debuted for the Wanderers in 2022 and made seven appearances across his two seasons under former Western Sydney coach Marko Rudan.

After putting pen to paper on a deal set to keep him in Perth until the conclusion of the 2025-26 Isuzu UTE A-League season, Blair said he’s eager to join the growing trend of young players seizing opportunities to shine at clubs around the competition.
“When I was approached by Glory and told all about the project going on here, I was instantly intrigued,” he said.
“The shift in focus to youth within the league has opened up doors for many young players and I’m ready to make the most of the opportunity I’ve been given to hopefully score goals for this club.
“I’m looking forward to getting settled in and to begin working among some very talented boys.”
“Perth is a beautiful city with an incredible community in and around HBF Park and with the vision and direction Glory are headed, I believe we can take this club back where it belongs.”

Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis labelled Blair as a “massive signing” for the club – and a potential strike partner for Socceroos star Adam Taggart in a two-pronged Glory attack next season.
“He’s an exciting addition who brings electric pace and is also a tall striker who can hold the ball up,” Lazaridis said.
“I believe he can successfully partner Adam Taggart and provide a different dynamic which the side was missing last year.
“Nathanael is young and hungry and the moment I was made aware that he wanted to come, it was a no-brainer because I believe he will play for Australia one day.
“It’s a massive signing.”
