“It was a dream come true to make my debut and play my part in the season that’s just been,” Adams said.

“I’ve been at this club since I was nine and now, I’m ready to further make my mark on this team.

“From the conversations I’ve had with Stephen I can’t wait to link up with the staff and my teammates again and get ready for the new season.”

Jets head coach Stephen Hoyle added: “Claire is a young, talented local player who’s hungry to learn.

“We’ll challenge her to turn her football IQ into consistent actions in the final third, and I’m confident she’ll make the next steps to become a real attacking threat at A League level.”
