Dylan Fox has caught the eye at Phoenix this season. He arrived with little fanfare from Australia’s NPL tier, but has made huge strides in Wellington over the last year and now looms as a future star of the club and league.

The Northern Ireland born 22-year-old’s breakout senior season was best personified in last week’s clash with Victory.
Fox came on early in the game as a sub for the injured Matt Ridenton, and for many he bossed the Big V’s front line, in turn helping to keep a clean sheet in the 3-0 win.
Fox, a former PS4 NPL NSW starlet at Bonnyrigg, debuted for Phoenix last season and he won the club’s Under-23 player of the year.
His potential was rewarded with a three-year contract extension.
This season with six appearances to his name (4 starts) he’s won over 82% of his aerial duels and 21 interceptions.
@dylfoxy is showing why the club sees him as a major part of the future and that’s why he’s one to watch in the race for the NAB Young Footballer of the Year.
