Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix
Friday, December 12th – Home of the Matildas – 7pm kick-off AEDT
Melbourne Victory welcome Wellington Phoenix to the Home of the Matildas on Friday night, and the home side will be bolstered by the return of both Emily Gielnik and Alex Chidiac from Matildas duty.
Injuries have impacted the last two years of Gielnik’s career but the Matildas veteran made her long-awaited comeback against Brazil, ending a 785-day wait to represent the Matildas once again.
In a crushing 6-0 win over Chinese Taipei on Saturday, Gielnik scored her first international goal since August, 2021.
Together with fellow Matilda Chidiac, who made two substitute appearances across the four games, Gielnik will return to Melbourne Victory where she’s a bona fide star of the competition, and is currently equal-first on the goalscoring leaderboard for this season with six goals to her name.
Gielnik, Chidiac and Victory take on Wellington at the Home of the Matildas, with kick-off at 7pm local time on Friday, December 12.

Western Sydney Wanderers v Western United
Saturday, December 14th – CommBank Stadium – 4.50pm kick-off AEDT
Western United duo Chloe Lincoln and Chloe Logarzo have returned to the Ninja A-League ahead of Round 6 this weekend.
Lincoln made her Matildas debut against Chinese Taipei on Saturday, and surprisingly featured in Western United’s starting XI the very next day for a Ninja A-League clash with Sydney FC.
A-Leagues historian Andrew Howe noted that Lincoln had become the first player to feature in a Ninja A-League game the day after playing for the Matildas.
Lincoln and Western United won 2-1 over Sydney FC and will have back-to-back victories in their sights when they travel to take on Western Sydney Wanderers at CommBank Stadium on Saturday in a double-header with the Wanderers’ men’s outfit.
Chloe Logarzo meanwhile returned to Western United after a concussion against Chinese Taipei brought a premature end to her first Matildas appearance in more than two years.
Logarzo missed both Australia’s second friendly against the Asian nation as well as Western’s Round 5 clash with Sydney FC but will push to prove her fitness in time to feature against the Wanderers.
Lincoln, Logarzo and Western United take on the Wanderers at CommBank Stadium on Saturday, November 14. Click below to get your tickets, or watch LIVE and FREE on 10 Play!

Brisbane Roar v Central Coast Mariners
Saturday, December 14 – Perry Park – 6pm AEDT
Brisbane Roar stars Tameka Yallop and Sharn Freier return to play in front of their home fans on Saturday afternoon after starring for the Matildas against Brazil and Chinese Taipei.
Freier scored her first ‘A’ international goal in the Matildas’ 3-1 win over Chinese Taipei in Melbourne and backed that scoring performance up with another one three days later in Geelong.
Both Freier and Yallop scored in the 6-0 win over Chinese Taipei that wrapped up the friendly series.
Yallop featured in all four games (three as a starter) and notched a goal and two assists, while Freier made two starts and two substitute appearances as one of the breakout players of the international window.
Central Coast Mariners welcome back defender Jessika Nash from Matildas duty for this weekend’s clash with Brisbane and although she wasn’t able to add to her one international cap to date, the 20-year-old defender will be all the better for having had the experience in camp.
Will Nash’s defensive resolve help the Mariners keep in-form attackers Yallop and Freier off the scoresheet in this clash between Matildas? Find out on Saturday! Get your tickets here, or watch LIVE and FREE on 10 Play!

Sydney FC v Newcastle Jets
Saturday, December 14 – Allianz Stadium – 7.45pm AEDT kick-off
Newcastle Jets defender Natasha Prior is back at her Ninja A-League club after a simply incredible international camp for the 26-year-old.
Six years ago, Prior was forced to retire due to a series of heavy concussions. But a slow but steady return to football has led to her remarkable rise to a Matildas debut against Brazil, and her first start and first goal for the national team against Chinese Taipei.
Prior made her third appearance of the international window in Australia’s second game against Chinese Taipei and capped that occasion off with another goal. Her inspirational story will be one to keep an eye on both at the Jets and with the national team.
Prior and the Jets travel to Allianz Stadium in Sydney to take on the reigning champions Sydney FC this weekend! Get your tickets to see the Matildas’ newest defensive star with an eye for goal, or watch LIVE and FREE on 10 Play!

Melbourne City v Canberra United
Sunday, December 15 – AAMI Park – 7.45pm AEDT
FIVE players from the most recent Matildas camp are set to take part in league-leaders Melbourne City’s home clash with Canberra United at AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon.
The lone Canberra United representative from the Matildas squad is Michelle Heyman, a legend of both the national team and the Ninja A-League who scored her 28th Matildas goal in the 6-0 rout of Chinese Taipei.
Heyman will be up against a star cast of City Matildas on Sunday afternoon. Midfielders Leah Davidson and Laura Hughes both received their first international call-ups in the most recent international squad – and they both debuted, too; Davidson scored her first Matildas goal in the victory of Chinese Taipei in Geelong.
Karly Roestbakken made her eighth Matildas appearance in the same game, while Bryleeh Henry scored her first international goal in the 3-1 win over Chinese Taipei at AAMI Park in what was a glorious international window for City’s Matildas quartet.
Roestbakken, Hughes, Davidson and Henry will reunite with Matildas teammate Michelle Heyman in a huge Ninja A-League fixture at AAMI Park on Sunday afternoon. Click here to get your tickets or watch LIVE and FREE on 10 Play!

Perth Glory v Adelaide United
Sunday, December 15 – Sam Kerr Football Centre – 8pm AEDT (5pm local)
The final game of Round 6 sees Adelaide United travel to face Perth Glory at the Sam Kerr Football Centre, as the appropriately-named Matilda McNamara will look to continue her excellent form for Adelaide after taking part in the November/December Matildas camp.
McNamara didn’t add to her one international cap earned in 2022 but the 25-year-old centre-back’s freshness allowed her to rush back into the Adelaide squad for Sunday’s win over Newcastle Jets.
McNamara has been a key cog in Adelaide’s resurgence this season and her return to the international fold will have only boosted her confidence in her ability to perform as one of the best defenders in the Ninja A-League this season.
McNamara and the Reds travel to the Sam Kerr Football Centre to take on Perth Glory in the final game of Round 6. Get your tickets to see the McNamara in action, or watch LIVE and FREE on 10 Play!
