Adelaide United will be out to draw level on points on the A-League table with Western Sydney Wanderers when they travel to face the Red and Black at Bankwest Stadium on Saturday night.
Adelaide have lost four times already this season. The Wanderers meanwhile have tasted defeat just once and come into the contest on a seven-game unbeaten streak, but four draws from eight games throughout the campaign have left Carl Robinson’s side within touching distance of Carl Veart and the Reds.
The Wanderers drew 2-2 with Wellington Phoenix in Matchweek 9, coming from behind to take the lead before ultimately sharing the points. Mitchell Duke made his first appearance of the season since returning to Wanderland on loan, featuring for just 15 minutes as he continues to improve his fitness.
The Wanderers talisman returns for his first home fixture since departing the club at the end of the 2019/20 season when the Reds come to town on Saturday. The two sides met twice in the last campaign, with the Wanderers taking six points from their Matchweek 10 rivals – including a 5-2 win in the most recent fixture between the two sides.
