Over 8,000 kids to have FREE access to the Central Coast Mariners home matches in 2010/11

The cornerstone of an exciting new range of Mariners memberships on offer for the new season, the EnergyAustralia Junior Football Membership will give the 8,373 registered players from Under 5-s through to Under 16-s a complimentary Membership and General Admission season ticket to all home games at Bluetongue Stadium.
The initiative is part of EnergyAustralia-s renewed commitment to the Mariners, and the Central Coast Football community as a whole, after the utilities giant signed on as a Major Partner of the Hyundai A-League club for a further three seasons.
“This has been a long-term vision of the club and we are now delighted to be able to offer this kind of opportunity to young footballers on the Central Coast,” said Mariners CEO John McKay.
“We are proud to have three local juniors in our Hyundai A-League squad and by actively engaging in the community with this type of program, we are confident many more Central Coast footballers will follow in those footsteps.”

EnergyAustralia Managing Director George Maltabarow said the Mariners and EnergyAustralia shared a common commitment for supporting the Central Coast community.
“We have 350 people working to deliver more than $600 million worth of work on the Central Coast and they receive great support for their work from the community,” Mr Maltabarow said.
“EnergyAustralia is part of the Central Coast community and we are always looking at ways to support it.
“Working with a community-focused organisation like the Mariners is a great way for us to support the community that supports us.”
Central Coast Football Chairman Darren Sprod is similarly delighted by the initiative.
“Central Coast Football is really excited about its strengthened ties with the Mariners, and these kind of initiatives only serve to improve the pathway between grassroots football and the A-League,” said Sprod.
Participants should start receiving their Membership card in June, and will be required to complete a simple activation process online before enjoying the benefits of free access to Mariners home games. Those many registered players who are already Mariners Members, either individually or as part of a family, will also be able to take advantage of the free offer.
The EnergyAustralia Junior Football Membership is just a small part of the club-s exciting new range of Memberships for the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League campaign, which will see more games than ever before played at Bluetongue Stadium.
The Mariners have completed an overhaul of packages available following extensive consultation with Members and supporters, resulting in Memberships to cater for every budget.
Mariners Members will have access to 14 matches at the club-s picturesque bayside home, and foundation Members will also receive a special thankyou gift in appreciation of their vital support in the first six seasons of the Hyundai A-League.
With Members making up the club-s “12th man” on match days, the Mariners have worked hard to create tailored packages to provide not only massive savings – up to 50% on matchday prices – but to also give Members that special feeling of belonging to the club, as Graham Arnold-s squad embarks on a quest to the Hyundai A-League Premiership, and beyond.
While full season Memberships will again provide the biggest savings, Members will this season have the option of a five match or nine match General Admission Membership or full season Membership.
There will be plenty of opportunities to catch the Mariners in action over the Christmas period, including on Boxing Day and New Years Eve. Memberships can greatly assist in taking the stress out of the hectic festive season, by securing your place at these big games, and by taking advantage of our part-payment plans.
With General Admission seating extended along the entire lower Eastern Concourse at Bluetongue Stadium, Members will enjoy an even better view of the action for a smaller cost, while the club-s vocal home supporters bay will revert to its iconic Bay 16 location.
“With a new coach, a host of exciting new players, and a new Membership range, the platform has been laid to make 2010/11 a success both on and off the field, and Members are key to achieving this,” said McKay.
The full range of Mariners Memberships and pricing is available online by Clicking Here and existing Members will receive renewal details in the coming week, and have until Friday, 18 June to retain their current seats, before allocation for new members begins.
