Macarthur FC lure young gun to Bulls & he’s tipped to have a significant impact

Macarthur FC have signed teenage defender Joshua Damevski on a scholarship deal for the next two seasons.

The 18-year-old arrives from Melbourne City until the end of the 2025-26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Damevski joins former Sydney FC captain Luke BrattanMarin JakolišLiam Rose and Socceroo Chris Ikonomidis as new signings at Mile Sterjovski’s Macarthur.

“I’m very excited. I’m keen to get to know all the boys and the staff and get right into training,” said Damevski, who played for City’s academy side in Melbourne.

“I want to get as many minutes as I can, I want to play as many games as I can under a new coach and improve as a player because I’m still young.”

Macarthur added in a statement: “His addition to the team is welcome, allowing him to gain more minutes and build on his football skills surrounded by experienced players.

“The club believes Damevski’s talent and determination will significantly impact the field.”
