Baumann says re-committing for another season at the Jets was an exciting decision to make as the club attempts to build on the success of last season.

“I’m really excited and grateful to be re-signing with the Newcastle Jets for the 2024-25 campaign to spend another season here in this town I love with our fans and its beautiful beaches,” Baumann said.

“I’m looking forward to building on the success we had last year, and I can’t wait to get back out on the pitch and play in front of our fans. Up the Jets!”

Bel Rolley and Danielle Krzyzaniak are the two new arrivals confirmed by the club to date.

Jets head coach Ryan Campbell says he’s eager to get more out of Baumann in her second season in Newcastle.

“Lorena had a great end to the season which coincided with our run in to the finals,” Campbell said.

“Her ability to play a range of positions as well as her composure under pressure was a key attribute that ensured that I re-signed her for the season.

“I am looking forward to working with her this season as I believe there is even more to get from Lorena and her football.”
