Perth Glory broke out of their form slump with a much-needed 3-1 victory over a 10-man Western Sydney Wanderers at nib Stadium on Sunday.
Glory were given the perfect opportunity to return to winning ways when Keanu Baccus was shown a straight red for giving a way a penalty that Diego Castro converted in the seventh minute.
Wanderers did respond through Oriol Riera’s spot-kick, but the contest was effectively over by half-time as Castro and Andy Keogh struck two spectacular goals in the space of three minutes.
Perth are now level on points with the Wanderers, who sit outside the top six on goal difference.
