Japanese superstar Keisuke Honda has been named to return for Melbourne Victory’s blockbuster top-of-the-table clash against Perth Glory on Sunday.
Victory’s marquee man hasn’t featured since Round 8 due to a hamstring injury but returns at the perfect time as Kevin Muscat’s men look to close the gap to Glory by getting a win at AAMI Park.
Jamie Maclaren is set to make his Melbourne City debut in the home clash against Adelaide United, who have their own new striker in Jordy Thomassen in their squad.
