Stefan Nigro (Victory)  

The youngster put in a strong shift against Mariners, making seven tackles, two clearances and a round-high seven interceptions.

Attempted six crosses, contested 21 duels and made eight tackles in a fantastic all-round performance.

Dino Djulbic (Victory)

A super debut from ‘Big Dino’, making five interceptions and completing 30 passes with an accuracy of 83%.

Made four clearances, two interceptions, fired one shot at goal, and had 51 passes in Adelaide’s 3-0 win over Perth.

MIDFIELDERS

Mark Bridge (WSW)

Hit the target with both of his shot attempts, scoring with one of them and “King Bridge” contested seven duels.

Johan Absalonsen (Reds)

Became the first Adelaide player since 2016 to score a goal and assist a goal in the same game, also contested 15 duels.

Daniel Adlung (Reds)

The midfielder was immense in the centre of the park for Marco Kurz’s side and scored a crucial goal with his only shot of the game before a back injury saw him leave the game.

Created four scoring chances, made 81 passes, and scored one of the great A-League goals in Sydney’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle Jets.

Besart Berisha (Victory

Hit the target with both of his efforts, scored once, and contested eight duels with an 88% success rate.

The Scottish striker netted a brace to fire City past Wellington, with his five shots on target a round-high.
