The fans have spoken and voted Andrew Nabbout’s cracker in Newcastle Jet’s 3-0 romp over Wellington Phoenix as the best goal from Round 5 of the Hyundai A-League.
Nabbout completed the rout in the second half as he picked his spot and curled a peach of a shot past Phoenix keeper Keegan Smith.
It was Nabbout’s first goal of the campaign and his stunning strike collected 67.2% of the fan vote.
Melbourne Victory’s Thomas Deng was second with 20.7% for his excellent header in the 1-1 draw with Western Sydney Wanderers.
Perth Glory skipper Andy Keogh’s match-winning header against Adelaide United came in third with 12.1%.
